About Me
Hi! I'm Tori, founder of After the Bell Bartending.
Â
The name After the Bell comes from two of the biggest parts of my life: teaching and bartending. I'm currently finishing my degree in education (November can't come soon enough!) and getting ready to start my career as a teacher. Of course, if you know anything about teacher salaries, you'll understand why I am going to be bartending after the bell for a very long time.
Â
While bartending started as a job to get me through school, it quickly became something I genuinely fell in love with. Over the past five years working behind a bar I found that bartending is about so much more than serving drinks. I became fascinated by the whole idea behind mixology, experimenting with flavors, creating recipes of my own, and finding ways to make each cocktail feel intentional, memorable, and like you just found your new favorite drink.
Â
I enjoy making drinks, but I love curating drinks more. That's where the heart of After the Bell Bartending comes from. Anyone can serve a cocktail, but I love creating menus and experiences that fit the people, the event, and the atmosphere. Whether it's a signature cocktail inspired by a certain book, a seasonal menu for a holiday party, or cocktails that pair well with something, I believe the details matter.
Â
When I'm not teaching, studying, or behind the bar, you'll probably find me with my nose buried in a book. I've always been a bookworm, which is why you'll see a little literary influence woven throughout my brand. To me, every great event tells a story, and I love helping create the cocktails that become part of it.
Â
No matter what you're planning, my goal is simple: create a personalized experience that you and your guests will remember long after the last drink is poured.
